After serving as a White House fellow, Greitens founded The Mission Continues, a charity that assists veterans. In 2013, he was included to Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most powerful people.
He resigned in June 2018 after being accused of sexual assault and improper campaign fundraising. Greitens launched his candidacy for the Senate seat vacated by retiring incumbent Roy Blunt in the 2022 election on March 22, 2021.
