What You need to know about Young World

The global network for young leaders is called One Young World. Our goal is to produce young leaders who are actively addressing the major issues facing the globe. Every year, young leaders from over 190 nations come together for the One Young World Summit to network, exchange knowledge, and get guidance from prominent political, corporate, and humanitarian figures.

The young leaders gain access to a global network of more than 17,000 young leaders as well as a variety of development opportunities when they return to their communities as One Young World Ambassadors, equipped with the contacts, wisdom, and drive to enhance their social impact.

About the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF)

The non-profit China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), with its headquarters in Hong Kong, aims to promote cooperation, encourage communication, and foster trust between the two biggest economies in the world. With over 2,000 American students studying in China, including 800 from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), CUSEF has a long history of supporting youth and education.

In honor of its 15th anniversary, it is encouraging young people worldwide to apply for the CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship to hasten the SDGs’ advancement. The organization was founded in 2008.

About the Scholarship

One Young World has launched the CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship 2024 in collaboration with the China-US Exchange Foundation to recognize eight exceptional young leaders from around the globe.

The Scholars will be chosen based on their demonstrable contributions to addressing global issues like poverty, gender equality, climate change, and public health.

Eight remarkable young leaders who are promoting good change will be able to attend the One Young World Summit in Montreal in 2024 and become members of the worldwide One Young World Ambassador Community thanks to this scholarship.

The CUSEF scholarship is fully funded and successful applicants get the chance to enjoy these privileges;

Eligibility Requirements for CUSEF scholarships

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be between the ages of 18 and 30 in 2024, when the One Young World Summit is held.
• All nationals are qualified to apply for this scholarship.
• Applicants must show a desire to foster interactions between the East and the West.
• Applicants should have a track record of leadership success.
• Possess a proven dedication to bringing about change.
• Are focusing their work on important local and/or global concerns.

Deadline for Application

What applicants must also take note of is the eligibility requirements for CUSEF scholarships is the deadline. Once the deadline has passed you can’t make any more applications. The deadline for application is 31st January 2024.
