Great American Family has a special treat for its viewers this Saturday as it has a new romantic movie on the line.

Happily Ever Emma will be premiering on the network on Saturday, March 4.

The film is based on Jane Austen’s Emma. It is about an actress, Emma Hutton, who has a passion for creating romance off-screen.

With the plot going on, Hutton is determined to help find her new neighbor, Hope, a perfect match. But soon, she discovers that love doesn’t always stick to the script.

Brian Brough directed the film from the screenplay of Brittany Wiscomber.

The movie marks the third of five collaborations between Brough, Wiscomber, and actress Sashleigha Hightower between 2020 and 2022.

Happily Ever Emma was filmed in Provo and Lindon in Utah. The film also includes shots of The Shops at Riverwoods.

The filming took place in June 2020. The lead actor in the film, Dan Fowlks, said he had a great time working during the pandemic.

He shared he had worked with the production company several times before.

Fowlks even re-posted a behind-the-scene picture from Lindon, Utah, on his Instagram on June 19, 2020. The caption of the post said, “That’s a wrap!! Love my Utah film family #lightscameraromance.”

Happily Ever Emma is about an actress named Emma, who is passionate about finding a perfect match for her friends.

Now, she is determined to bring them close. But in the process, the actress accidentally tramples on several hearts.

When she realizes she herself has always been in love with her friend Gray, she learns love works best when she doesn’t intervene in it.

The movie has received generally mixed reviews from viewers. Positive reviews have praised its production quality, fun action, cool cast, beautiful photography, and pleasant scene.

One user said, “There were some cringy scenes but it was an okay movie.” Another user said that the characters of the movie are all too similar, especially age-wise, unlike the originals.
