Ghanaian students who are on government’s scholarship in China have been crying to be evacuated to Ghana but that has fallen on the deaf ears of the government.
As a result, reports indicate they are living in a hell of a time; buying ‘shito’ (black chilly sauce) for GHS80.
Mr. Agyemang-Manu who is Ghana Minister for Health made this revelation in an interview and said that the government is wary about that development.
The Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey has expressed anger at the recent phenomenon.
It appears that this same bottle of shito should cost GHS35 on a normal day everywhere.
The students want to come back to Ghana but the government is adamant and the situation in China is affecting global economies.
