The advent of social media has seen some good, bad, and ugly results. It has become a necessary evil which we cannot do away with.

However, the evils of social media cannot be underestimated. The trolls, the insults, the depression, the envy, the crimes, etc have all culminated into what we call “Social Media Woes’.

On the back of that Nigerian actor and son of a veteran, Yul Edochie has preached through a tweet that individuals must develop a stronger attitude to counteract the bad side of social media.

He advocated that when someone makes you feel inferior or less of a huma, there are two alternatives which include the development of a tough skin.

He added that it is either that individual is ignored and blocked or an act of revenge is carried out on the person then a block follows.

He wrote:

The world is tough. So you must be tougher. You need a very thick skin to survive. When some1 insults you or your family on social media, DO NOT LET IT BREAK YOU DOWN. Use 1 of these 2 options. A: Ignore and block the person. Or B: insult the person 25 times more then block.
