Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia attended 3 different churches in Kumasi during the 31st December watch night service.
Being a dedicated Muslim, many people were not expecting him to take part in any christian activity and were quick to criticize his action before coming into conclusion that the Vice President is on a political mission after he confirmed his attendance of the 3 churches in a tweet.
“I joined St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Bantama Assemblies of God Church and Power Chapel Worldwide in Kumasi for 31st December watch night service” Veep confirmed.
It is widely speculated that Bawumia could succeed President Akufo-Addo as the flag bearer of NPP going into the 2024 election. This is where Ghanaians believes he graced the church services in attempt to start making himself more Friendly and Popular to the public.
