Ghanian reggae dancehall recording artist, creative director, and fine arts painter Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo with the stage name Epixode said talent doesn’t pay in Ghana.

Epixode who is known for some good reggae tunes said Ghanaians do not pay attention to the artiste who showcases their real talent.

The ‘Wahala Dey’ hitmaker speaking to Giovanni Caleb on 3FM said only a small number of Ghanaians are beginning to appreciate the art.

” I think this is the time for me. Initially, Ghanaians didn’t open up their ears and minds to some of us. But now, its changing cos the masses listen and sing along word for word when we perform on stage. It means they are now paying attention to lyrics. The thing is that talents don’t really in Ghana. It’s still there but it’s getting better”.

Epixode currently released a song featuring Sarkodie with the title ‘Me Ne Woa’.
