Gutter in front of Ghana Health Service office in Accra full of plastic waste

The gutter in front of the offices of Ghana Health Service Human Resource Department in Accra is full of plastic waste.

This is coming as a surprise to netizens because the institution that is meant to recruit people to take care of the nation’s health issues has allowed an unhealthy situation to breed right under their nose.

Mosquitoes would be very happy in that gutter, and they’ll breed well enough after which they will bite people at night to cause malaria.

This is just but one of the health hazards that the dirty looking gutter would pose to those around.

The photos were taken by Facebook user Nana Tea. Sharing the photos, he wrote that there’s the need to keep the environment clean.
