Hana Zagorova was born on September 6, 1946. Hana Zagorova has been making music recordings since 1964 and is a Czech singer-songwriter, actress, and presenter. Zagorova is regarded as one of the best-known vocalists from the Czech Republic. Between 1977 and 1985, Hana Zagorova received the national Zlat slavk music award nine times, which ranks second in the award’s history behind Lucie Bla, who won the esk slavk, the award that replaced it, thirteen times.
In the 1963 singing competition Hledame nove talenty (New Talent), where Zagorova was accompanied by the Gustav Brom orchestra, Zagorova initially garnered prominence. At the Janaek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, she studied acting from 1964 to 1968 before receiving her degree.

Zagorova first husband was the dancer and ballet master Vlastimil Harapes, from 1986 until 1992. After they divorced, Zagorova married Slovak tenor Stefan Margita in 1992.
