At the surface of the earth, earthquakes manifest themselves by vigorously shaking and disrupting the ground. Usually, when the epicenter of a large earthquake is pinpointed offshore, then consequently the seabed could be displaced more sufficiently.
This ends up causing a tsunami. Earthquakes however also trigger landslides. Earthquakes have since been happening across the world.
At the time of this publication in the year 2023, the recent earthquake happened in Turkey and Syria where hundreds of people are being reported dead as many more remain trapped under the rubble. The people of Turkey are still dealing with the effects of the earthquakes
