Holger Vitus Nødskov Rune is a Danish professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 40 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals, which he first achieved in May 2022.
He has won several titles in his career including winning one ATP Tour singles title. Playing at several competitions and occasions, his performance at the 2022 French Open remains his top-notch performance by reaching the fourth round in his main debut at the tournament.
As a junior, Rune got to the highest rank in his career as he was ranked world No. 1 and won ten titles at the ITF Junior Circuit, including the 2019 French Opening boys title.
After turning a professional in 2020, he won five titles in the ITF World tennis tour and five of the ATP challenger tour and made his 100 debuts in January 2022.
Three months later, Rune attained his first ATP Tour final at the 2022 BMW Open, where he won his first title and thereon entered into the top 50.
