Hon. Ambrose Dery is a Ghanaian politician and Legal Practitioner.
He was born on the 23rd of August, 1956 in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

He was born on the 23rd of August, 1956 in the Upper West Region of Ghana. He is 65 years old as of the year 2021.
He is married and blessed with one child called Michael Dery.
He had his secondary level education at the Navrongo Secondary School and then entered the University of Ghana in the year 1977 to pursue Law.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LL. B) and was called to the Bar in 1982.
Politics and Career
He served in two ministerial positions as the Regional Minister for the Upper West Region from the years 2004 to 2006 and the Minister of Justice from 2005 to 2007.
He served as the Deputy Minority Leader for the fifth parliament of Ghana. Dery won the Nandom parliamentary seat, then Lawra-Nandom Constituency in 2008 but lost the seat to Benjamin Kumbuor in the 2012 elections.
He was also the Chairman of the Water Aid Partner Round Table, an association of local NGOs funded by Water Aid for ten years.
On the 21st of January, 2021, President Nana Akufo-Addo named Ambrose Dery as part of 27 ministers who would form his cabinet. The names of the 27 ministers were submitted the Parliament of Ghana.
