Member of parliament for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, has withdrawn himself from the Appointments committee of the 8th parliament of the Republic of .

Mr. Ablakwa Communicated communicated his decision to the Speaker of Parliament through a letter dated 30th March and his resignation means he will not be available for the vetting of nominees for Deputy ministerial positions.

He cited his reasons for the resignation is personal and on Principle after days of reflection and thoughtful considerations.
