On December 26, 2008, she made her debut as the young daughter of well-known figure Nick Cotton (John Altman). On July 25, 2019, it was revealed that Milly Zero would replace Dotty when she was reintroduced.

Dotty Cotton was initially despised by critics. The Daily Mail’s Jane Simon criticized her accent. The Daily Mirror and The Guardian critics were happy to see her go. Conlin’s portrayal of Dotty, however, received praise from executive producer Diederick Santer, and both Brown and Altman agreed that the plot was one of the show’s highlights.

How Is Rocky Related To Dot Cotton?

Rocky and Dot Cotton are not related. Sandy, Dot’s mother, informs Dot that she is not Nick’s daughter and that her father is Tom “Rocky” Cotton (Brian Conley) in December 2021. But this is proven to be a lie in September 2022.
