He also served as the host of the CBC News Network program Mansbridge One on One. For his media work, Mansbridge has won numerous honorary doctorates and other distinctions, including one from Mount Allison University, where he presided as chancellor from 2013 to 2017.

On January 8, 1957, Wendy Mesley, a Canadian television journalist, was conceived. She worked as a national reporter and fill-in for CBC News from 1979 till 2021.

She was the anchor of The National in addition to anchoring Disclosure, Marketplace, and Undercurrents.

She also worked as the moderator of the Sunday morning conversation show The Weekly with Wendy Mesley from 2018 to 2020.
