Pierluigi Collina is a retired Italian football referee who was born on February 13, 1960, in Italy. Pierluigi Collina though is retired but he is still active and inclusive in football as a consultant to the Italian Football Referees Association (AIA) and he has been the head of referees for the Football Federation of Ukraine since 2010. Additionally, Pierluigi Collina is a member of the UEFA referees committee and the chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee.
Collina released his autobiography, My Rules of the Game, in 2003. Pierluigi focused on building his own financial advisory practice in August 2005, following his retirement.
