How Many Siblings does Oprah Winfrey have?
Oprah Winfrey has three siblings from the same mother but different fathers. They are Patricia Lofton, Patricia Lee Lloyd and Jeffrey Lee.
Sadly, Jeffrey Lee, her only brother died of AIDS in 1989 at the young age of 29. Patricia Lee Lloyd also died in 2003 at the age of 43. It is believed she died of an accidental overdose.
Patricia Lofton is the only surviving sibling. Patricia united with her sister Oprah in 2011 because she was given up for adoption by their mother Vernita Lee.
Patricia is 58 years old and is currently living in Wisconsin. She has two children. In 2020, Oprah bought a house for Patricia Lofton.
During an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, Oprah said “To be in a relationship with somebody who actually didn’t want anything but was there to be supportive of me. So, it’s been really great. Really great.”
