Meet Patricia Lofton
The Half-sister of Oprah, Patricia Lofton is 57 years old. The siblings have separate fathers, but they all had the same mother, the late Vernita Lee.
Lee felt she had no choice but to give up her child for adoption. On Oprah’s chat show in 2011, the sisters reconciled.
According to reports, Oprah looked after her younger sister’s finances and gave her a $500,000 property in Wisconsin so she could resume her education.
Meet Patricia Lee Lloyd
Another half-sister of Oprah’s, Patricia Lee Lloyd, died in 2003 at the age of 43. They both shared their mother. Her two daughters and her husband Kenny Lloyd, Sr. survived her.
According to Lloyd’s obituary in the Chicago Tribune, her mother Vernita Lee and resided in Milwaukee. She reportedly overdosed unintentionally and passed away.
Meet Jeffrey Lee
Oprah’s half-brother Jeffrey Lee passed away from AIDS in 1989 at the early age of 29. Although the relationship between the siblings was tumultuous, Jeffrey was nice to her when he was on the verge of passing away.
According to the Sun-Sentinel, he declared, “Now that the end is drawing near, I want Oprah to know that throughout our difficulties, I still loved her and was proud of her.”
