Donald Neil Kerley AM a rules footballer and coach in Australia. He was born on February 20, 1934, in Barmera, South Australia.

Kelley is notable as a coach and football player for leading the three clubs to four South Australian National Football League(SANFL) premierships for three decades and also for playing for South Australia in 32 state games.

Kelley’s era of football was such that players played one position on the ground however, he was skilled and could play any position on the ground and was good in ruck although he didn’t have the stature for a ruckman, he was 6 feet tall.

Kerley quit playing football at the end of 1969 and started coaching in 1970, still being with Glenelg he led the Tigers to the 1970 Grand Final where they lost to Sturt again, who gained in a row their fifth Premiership with their coach Jack Oatey who was Kerley’s former tutor at West Adelaide.

He was married to Barbara Gordon.
