How to create a shutdown Icon on your desktop in windows 10.

There are more functionalities in windows 10 than we thought about. Most people don’t actually seems to go deeper to explore these amazing time saving features.

I believe there is a shortcut to everything on windows which we don’t know but yet to discover them.

Shutting down our computer is one of the things we do often with our PC, and we have so many ways of doing that. But there is an easier way to shut down your computer by creating a shortcut icon.

This shortcut icon will automatically shut down your PC when you double click on it. Here is how to do it.

Right click on a free space on your desktop and select new on the drop down menu.

This will open a window. Type in the following commands in the search box in the window and click on next. Shutdown.exe /s /t 00

On the next window that will appear after clicking on next in the step above, type the name of your shotcut or leave it at it’s default name “Shutdown” and click on finish.

The shortcut will appear on your desktop like this one in the picture below.
