Rapper Edem has put a spin on the ongoing debate on why Ghanaian musicians do not penetrate unto the global music scene and to also win awards on big stages such as the Grammys.
Well, speaking on the issue, rapper Edem took to Twitter and wrote that he’s more concerned about everybody in the food chain getting the bag first.
That’s to mean he feels producers, promoters, dancers, musicians, among others who work in the music industry must be okay financially before we worry ourselves about awards.
The ‘VRMG Boss’ noted that if the hunger side is not taken care of, then no level of award can cure the hunger.
“I am more concerned about everybody in the food chain getting the bag first..If that’s not sorted,no award go cure the hunger“, he tweeted.
