Her second mixtape, titled “TrapGold,” was released the same year that she inked a recording contract with Island Def Jam Records. Mixtape featured smash single “Murda Bizness,” which reached its highest position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States at number 97.
Iggy’s first studio album, titled “The New Classic,” was published in 2014 and debuted at position number three on the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States. The album includes the smash singles “Fancy” and “Black Widow,” both of which reached the top five on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Both of these hits were taken from the artist’s album. Iggy received her first Grammy nomination thanks to “Fancy.” The nomination was for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
