Iggy Azalea moved to the United States when she was 16 to pursue a music career. With the release of her debut mixtape, “Ignorant Art,” in 2011, Iggy became well-known for the first time. The mixtape received favorable reviews from critics and featured production from Diplo and FKi. She signed a deal with Island Def Jam Records in 2012 and put out her second mixtape, “TrapGold.” The smash hit single “Murda Bizness,” which reached number 97 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, was included on the mixtape.

“The New Classic,” Iggy’s first studio album, debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart in 2014. The singles “Fancy” and “Black Widow,” both of which reached the top five on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, were included on the album. Iggy received her first Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her performance of “Fancy.”

“Digital Distortion,” Iggy’s second studio album, was released in 2015. The album’s lead single, “Team,” debuted at number 50 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. However, critics gave the album mixed reviews and it did not achieve the same success as her debut.

“Surviving the Summer,” Iggy’s third studio album was released in 2018. The smash hit single “Savior,” which peaked at number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, was included on the album. Quavo, Tyga, and Post Malone made guest appearances on the album as well.
