Igor Vysotsky was the supposed only child of Yakov Antonovich Vysotsky and Meeta Joganovna Suve. Yakov, Igor’s father, was an amateur boxer who also served as the Soviet Naval Infantry during the Second World War.
Igor Vysotsky also worked as a PE teacher after completing the Magadan Teacher Training Institute.
