The USSR boxing champion Igor Vysotsky passed away at age 70 even as his death was confirmed by the Russian Boxing Federation’s press service.

The retired boxer, Igor Vysotsky is on record as the Soviet Heavyweight Champion who managed to defeat three times Olympic Champion Teófilo Stevenson. Igor was, however, a PE teacher before taking up his boxing career.

Media reports have recorded Igor Vysotsky’s height to be 1.81 meters whiles his weight is approximately 92 kg.

The parents of Igor Vysotsky were Yakov Antonovich Vysotsky and Meeta Joganovna Suve. However, Igor Vysotsky has not been confirmed to be married or having any child at the time of his death.
