The Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service has declared two police officers wanted over their involvement in a robbery.

As it stands, the Tesano Division of the Ghana Police Service in Accra were tasked to find these men and bring them to book.

According to the report by mynewsgh, the two suspected policemen stopped a Burkinabe believed to be a gold dealer at gunpoint and collected $209,174 from him.

Mynewsgh reports that police investigators have told their news portal that the suspected policemen carried out their criminal act using a service vehicle with registration number GP 3513.

They collected all the money from one Sulenan Sodre a Burkinabe resident at Classic Guest House Lapaz at gunpoint and bolted.

A certain man who identified as Alhaji Abdul bought three (3) kilograms of Gold worth $209,172 USD from him and his brother.

After the payment and on their way back to their Guest House they were attacked by the suspects whose identity is yet to be revealed.

According to the Tesano police command, investigations are ongoing and the suspect will be arrested and brought to book.
