Alexandra Botez, a chess player, YouTuber, and Twitch streamer, is American. In March 2016, when her FIDE Elo rating reached a maximum of 2092, she was given the title of Woman FIDE Master.

Alexandra was born in Dallas, Texas, on September 24, 1995, but she spent most of her early years in Vancouver, British Columbia, before coming home as a teenager.

The chess player has also participated in their respective national-level contests and has competed for both Canada and the United States in international tournaments.

In April 2018, she and her sister Andrea launched the chess-themed YouTube channel BotezLive. More than 150k people subscribe to the channel. More than 350k people follow Alexandra on her well-known Twitch channel, where she hosts and takes part in live chess broadcasts.
