Cheyna was 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in) tall and was 29 years old at the time of publication.
Williams, a Vanderbilt University student, made 17 appearances during her first season there and produced six goals and six assists. She built on a strong season by starting all 18 of her games her sophomore year, scoring 16 goals and contributing five assists. She was named to the First Team All-SEC for 2013 thanks to her accomplishments.
Matthews was chosen by the Washington Spirit in the opening round of the 2016 NWSL College Draft. She signed with the Spirit in April 2016. In his first 17 regular-season games, Matthews played a total of 779 minutes, making 8 starts. She added three goals of her own. Prior to the 2020 season, the Spirit reported that Matthews will be taking a paid leave of absence in order to focus on her family’s requirements, including the chance that her husband, Jordan Matthews, would relocate to the NFL.
The Spirit added Matthews to the NWSL Re-Entry Wire in October 2020. In November 2020, Racing Louisville FC selected Matthews off the NWSL Re-Entry Wire. She signed a contract with the Chicago Red Stars in March 2023.
