Conan Lee Gray was born on December 5, 1998, in Lemon Grove, California, to a father with primarily Irish ancestry and a mother of Japanese descent.
Conan Lee Gray is of mixed ancestry. Because his grandfather required medical treatment, his family uprooted and moved to Hiroshima, Japan, when he was still an infant. Following a period of two years spent there, the family ultimately decided to go to California. Gray was formerly proficient in Japanese, but he has since lost his ability to speak the language.
