Hootie is an international American musician and was so universal and known to be one of the most famous singers nationally. Hootie was born on May, 13th in the year 1966. Hootie, who is also called Darius Carlos Rucker initially enlarged fame as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Hootie & the Blowfish.

Darius is well known to be a singer, and songwriter, however, has a very good specialization in the vocal guitar. Very exceptional one. Darius (Hootie) is both gracious and humble. Is Hootie and the Blowfish country?

Exceptionally and outstandingly, Hootie & the Blowfish has officially become a country music group with a major label deal, full support from country radio, and all the other rights and privileges of a mainstream country music act thereof. In fact, and that was six years later, Rucker signed to Capitol Nashville as a country music singer, releasing the album, Learn to Live that year.
