John was born on November 25, 1960, two weeks after his father was elected president. He lived in the White House for the first three years of his life until his father was assassinated on November 22, 1963. His father President J.F. Kennedy was buried on John’s third birthday.
John attended Brown University where he majored in American Studies. He was a staunch speaker against apartheid in South Africa, gun control, and civil rights. John spent time in India after school where he met Mother Theresa. He completed his Juris Degree at the New York University School of Law.
People assumed John would walk in his father’s steps by going into politics but he did not. He went on to launch a political magazine, George in 1995. John was linked to actresses like Cindy Crawford, Julie Baker, and Sarah Jessica Parker. However, he married publicist, Carolyn Bessette in 1996.

JKF Jr. flew with his wife Carolyn and sister-in-law Lauren Bessette to attend the wedding of his cousin Rory Kennedy at Hyannis Port, Massachusetts but they never arrived. The plane crashed killing the three of passengers. It grew the nation into mourning. Sadly John was the latest victim of the Kennedy’s curse.
