In January 2021, Jojo Siwa publicly identified as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. In response to a fan’s inquiry about her label, Jojo added that she “doesn’t really know this answer” and does not label her sexuality.
“Technically I would say that I am pansexual, because that’s how I have always been my whole life is just like, my human is my human,” Jojo said in a later statement. Jojo stated in the same interview that she also uses the terms “gay” and “queer”. She has also acknowledged that she has no interest in men.
