Kaitlin Willow Olson is an American comedian and actress who was born on August 18, 1975, in Portland, Oregon. She began her career with The Sunday Company at the Groundlings, a Los Angeles-based improvisational theater and school.

Olson appeared in a few minor television projects before landing the role of Deandra “Sweet Dee” Reynolds on the FX comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005-present).

For her roles as Mackenzie “Mickey” Molng in The Mick (2017-2018) and Cricket Melfi in Flipped (2020), Olson was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series.

The Fox comedy The Mick’s January 2017 premiere featured Olson. She was an executive producer on the show as well. In September 2017, The Mick’s second season made its debut.

Fox ended the show after the second season’s finale in April 2018. In Hacks, Olson portrays DJ, Deborah Vance’s rebellious daughter.
