Calderon, also known as Hanna Carillo, was seen with a gun near the intersection of Jerusalem and Bellmore Avenues in North Bellmore shortly after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
In the widely circulated footage, Calderon can be seen ostensibly waving a gun at onlookers and oncoming cars. Calderon was knocked to the ground when the suspect put the firearm to their head and was struck by a cruiser from the Nassau County Police.
When the police came, the defendant was pointing a black and silver revolver towards oncoming vehicles and them. The defendant, who was holding the pistol, was knocked to the ground by a patrol car’s front passenger side, according to a statement from the Nassau County Police.
