She is known in the entertainment world for her adaptability and image reinventions. When Gaga was a teenager, she started performing by singing at open-mic events and appearing in school plays.

Before leaving school to pursue a career in music, she attended Collaborative Arts Project 21 via the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

Lady Gaga, signed a joint agreement with Interscope Records and KonLive Distribution in 2007, while working as a songwriter for Sony/ATV Music Publishing after Def Jam Recordings terminated her contract.

The Fame, Gaga’s debut studio album, which featured the number-one singles “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” on the charts, was what finally gave her the success she was looking for.

Later on, the extended play The Fame Monster (2009), which featured the hit singles “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” and “Alejandro,” was added to the album’s reissue.

Each of Gaga’s five subsequent albums debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200. Born This Way, her second full-length album, was released in 2011 and explored electronic rock and techno-pop.

She got more than a million copies sold, during the first week. With over a million downloads in less than a week, the title track became the iTunes Store’s fastest-selling song.
