Although he is often listed as Fred Demaree or Fred Stewart on various documents, it is largely believed that Fred Phillips was his real name; his biological parents were Luther and Olive Phillips (the latter of whom was also credited under the Demaree and Stewart surnames). However, Richard Reid Fliehr and Kathleen Kinsmiller Fliehr adopted him, and this was as result of Kathleen not able to get pregnant again after loosing her only daughter. Flair had a lot of wives but this article is about his first wife, Leslie Goodman.
