In Mexia, next to the Groesbeck Highway, in his grandpa McAdams’ house, Lee was born on March 26, 1928. His mother Julia Mae McAdams Goodman had numerous professions in education as well as giving health services to babies, while his father Little Leslie Goodman was a farmer who also worked other occupations.
Lee grew up in poverty in Fairfield, Texas, together with his sister Lorraine and brothers Bill and Bill. He was nurtured by a loving mother, grandmother, aunts, and uncles after his parents had divorced, who helped him become a good, caring man.
Where is Leslie Goodman now?
At the age of 94, Leslie passed away peacefully and in his loved ones’ presence on April 25, 2022. His children Mary Goodman Brown and Michael Goodman are still alive (Peggy). Leslie was predeceased by his beloved Dorothy Lee (Anderson) Goodman, his parents, Little Leslie Goodman and Julia Mae (McAdams) Goodman, as well as his siblings Bill Goodman and Lorraine Goodman Brown.
