Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 to a Syrian father and a German-American mother. He was adopted by Clara and Paul Reinhold Jobs. Jobs was a difficult child resisting authority and was suspended a few times at school. He was also a very brilliant student skipping the 5th grade and transferred to the 6th grade.
In 1976, he co founded Apple with Steve Wozniak, a year later they were able to produce and sell Apple II. Forced out of Apple, Jobs went on to create NeXT, a computer platform development company, new company was Pixar, which produced the first 3D computer-animated feature film Toy Story (1995). In 1997, Jobs returned to Apple as CEO after the company’s acquisition of NeXT. He was largely responsible for reviving Apple, which was on the verge of bankruptcy.
He is credited for unique designs of the Apple products, making it the most valuable company in the world.

In 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. In 2011, he resigned from Apple due to declining health and named Tim Cook as his successor. Jobs died on October 5, 2011, his last words were ‘Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.’
