Takeoff was born on the 18th of June, 1994 and lost his life on the 1st of November in what was a misunderstanding over a game of dice in Houston. He was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and always had a passion as he started rapping as early as his 7th grade.
He however went professional in 2011 alongside his uncle Quavo and Offset under the name The Polo club before subsequently rebranding to Migos and the trio would since then not look back with their hit single ‘Versace’ giving them nationwide attention.
Is Takeoff still a Migo?
Takeoff until his unfortunate demise was still a very firm part of Migo (s) with Offset however going solo.
Takeoff and his uncle, Quavo, who later got nicknamed Unc & Neph were still firmly Migos and rumour had been circulating the duo were in the studio working on what is understood an album. This loss sure comes as tragic news to all Hip-Hop lovers and we wish him eternal rest!
