Takeoff until his unfortunate and untimely death was part of the Trap Hip-Hop group Migos made up of Quavo and former member, Offset. Takeoff always had a passion for music which is time immemorial and started ‘spitting’ bars in his 7th grade and was also said to be a good mixer. Takeoff and Quavo as well as Offset before being known as Migos were initially operating under the stage name Polo club before rebranding to the former. Takeoff was born in Lawrenceville Georgia on the 18th of June 1994 and lost his life to a shoot-out on the 1st of November 2022.

Yes! Takeoff was Offset’s nephew. Both Offset and Quavo are cousins and the three shared home as the trio was brought up under the same roof of care from Takeoff’s mother and Quavo’s elder sister. News of his death is sure to hit Offset and Quavo badly as well as the entire Hip-Hop community. We wish him eternal rest and strength for the family in such difficult times as this!
