English actor James Murray, better known as Jim Murray, was born on January 22, 1975, in Manchester, England. Jim received a classics scholarship from Malvern College and has a degree in film, despite the fact that nothing is known about his early life.

In addition to playing Stephen Hart in Primeval, Prince Andrew in The Crown, Niles Pottinger in Defiance, Daniel Coltrane in Cucumber, and Chief Superintendent John Houseman in McDonald & Dodds, he is most recognized for his television roles.

For his roles as the unstable Daniel Coltrane in Cucumber (Channel 4 2015) and the expert tracker Stephen Hart in Primeval (ITV 2008), Murray rose to fame.

He made cameos in a number of films and television programs in his early career, including the comedy series Roger-Roger, the courtroom drama North Square (2000) many others.
