Jane Doyle is a famous Australian journalist. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia, on February 10, 1958. Presenter Jane Doyle joined the Seven Network from ABC TV and works for Seven News in Adelaide. She has also worked as a reporter for regional shows like Adelaide Weekender and Discover. For many years, she provided commentary for the broadcasts of the ANZAC Day parade and the Adelaide Christmas Pageant.

Before transitioning to journalism in far-north Queensland, Doyle started out as a teacher. She and her husband, fellow journalist Ian Doyle, relocated to rural South Australia in 1981, where she worked for a number of local newspapers and ABC Local Radio stations.

Jane Doyle went back to print after arriving in Adelaide and took the position of Adelaide editor for TV Week before re-joining ABC as a news reader. After serving as a stand-in presenter for ABC TV’s ABC News Adelaide for a year, she took over as the primary presenter of the 7 pm bulletin in 1988.
