2024 /2025 Jane Wight T&T International Scholarship

The Jane Wight T&T Scholarship is being offered by the University of Guelph to international students who wish to continue their education there.

While it struggles to fulfill its mandate to provide top-notch programs and support to students that will aid in the development of the person, scholar, and citizen, UGuelph will be briefly remembered as a leader among Canadian universities in the development of the person, student, and citizen.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must verify that they meet the requirements for the program they have selected.
• International students are required to apply.
• The university’s English language proficiency standards must be met by applicants.
• The student’s declaration of interest or a letter of recommendation from the high school, along with an evaluation of the entrance application package, will be used to determine the student’s selection based on academic performance.
• Applicants from Trinidad and Tobago who enroll in the program pay the tuition and fees associated with overseas students.
• Special consideration will go to students enrolling in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics’ B.Comm. program.

How to Apply

• Interested parties must be admitted to the University’s undergraduate degree program.
• After that, applications together with a 250-word statement of interest must be sent to Financial Services at awards-at-uoguelph.ca.
• The attached documents that candidates must send include a resume, a 250-word expression of interest, their academic objectives, and a recommendation letter from their high school.

Students must be proficient in English according to university standards.
