Jemma, a mother of three, died earlier this week at the age of 29 after a battle with a rare form of ovarian cancer. She met Dooley while filming the episode “Mum Fighting the Clock” in February, before the show debuted on the W network in April.
Stacey, 36, came to Instagram on Thursday to offer a touching tribute, just a few hours after talking about her late buddy in a retrospective episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, in which she recapped earlier episodes with her partner known as Kevin Clifton.
‘Just heartbreaking, Jemma was a joy to work with and we continued our relationship as pals,’ Stacey commented. I’m thinking of her [husband] Clive and her beautiful children.
