Jim Seals was born on the 17th of October 1941 and passed away in June 2022. Jim Seal and Crofts were an American soft rock duo. They are well-known for their hit songs “Summer Breeze which was released in 1972, Diamond Girl released 1973 and Get Closer which was released in 1976.

Each of their hits reached Number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Both members have long been public supporters of the Baháʼí Faith. Despite that the duo dispersed in 1980, they reunited shortly in 1991–1992, and again in 2004, when they dropped their last album titled as the Traces.

The duo first met when Crofts was the well-known drummer for a local band. Later, Seals joined an outfit known as Dean Beard and the Crew Cats, in which he played sax. Fast forward, Crofts joined Seals in the band.

Jim Seals’ illness:

Jim Seals died in June 2022 at the age of 80. Jim died of a natural cause of death after suffering from an undisclosed illness of the aged. The illness he succumbed to is yet to be known.
