Justine Gotti Agnello was the daughter of American television personality and playwright Victoria Gotti.

She was stillborn nine months after she married her then-husband, Carmine Agnello. Despite dying at infancy and never meeting her siblings, Justine Agnello had three siblings: Frank, John, and Carmine Gotti.

Victoria wanted to cut the section in the movie where she loses her child, but someone watched it and decided to include it. Victoria noted in an interview that despite the story being delivered correctly, it was challenging.

Justine Gotti’s mother began her career as a columnist for the New York Post. She was a reporter for a Fox television network affiliate.

Victoria’s experience with the illness inspired her first book, Women and Mitral Valve Prolapse, which was released in 1995.

What happened to Justine Gotti Agnello?

In an open interview with PEOPLE, Gotti reveals that she pushed hard with Lifetime executives to keep the loss of her first child, Justine, out of the special.

Unfortunately, the latter died nine months after Gotti married her ex-husband Carmine Agnello in 1984.
