He was selected for the Jozi Stars team for the first Mzansi Super League T20 event in October 2018. He was included in the Jozi Stars team’s roster for the 2019 Mzansi Super League competition in September of that year.
He was included in Gauteng’s team in April 2021, in time for the South African cricket season of 2021–2022.
Rabada was acquired by the Delhi Daredevils squad for INR 50 million in February 2017 in preparation for the 2017 Indian Premier League. He was repurchased by Delhi (Delhi Capitals) in the 2018 IPL auction in January, however, a back ailment later prevented him from playing in the tournament.
Prior to the 2019 Indian Premier League, Delhi Capitals renewed their contract with Rabada. Before departing for national service, he participated in 12 league matches. With 25 wickets, he became DC’s leading wicket-taker and the second-highest wicket-taker overall for the season.
