Leopold Jesus Posada Hernandez was a baseball outfielder by profession in Cuba. From 1960 through to 1962, he was a member and played for Kansas City Athletics of Major League Baseball.

Posada was born on April 1, 1934, in Havana, Cuba.

Before his baseball profession, he was a cyclist where at the Pan American Games and Caribbean games he was a representative of Cuba.

In 1954, he was endorsed by Milwaukee Braves as an independent beginner agent. Posado was chosen by Kansas City Athletics from the Braves in the junior league outline after the 1956 season.

His first MLB appearance in thetics was on September 21, 1960. Posada’s final MLB game was on July 20, 1962.

He was exchanged by the Athletics with Bill Kunkel and Dale Wills for Orlando Pena on August 3, 1962.

He worked as a manager in Florida State League for the Class A Fort Lauderdale Yankees.

The cause of the demise of Leo Posado has not been communicated to the public. The baseball player passed on June 22, 2022, in Miami, Florida at the age of 88.
