Moonves had served as the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of CBS Corporation since 2013 but resigned in September 2018 in the wake of several allegations of sexual harassment, assault, and abuse. He worked for CBS from July 1995 to September 2018 in a variety of executive capacities. He was on the board of directors for ZeniMax Media from 1999 until 2021.
Moonves served as co-president and co-chief operating officer (COO) of CBS Corporation from 2004 until the legal separation of the original Viacom, Inc., which split in December 2005. He took over as CBS’s chairman in February 2016 and left the position in September 2018 after multiple women accused him of sexual assault. Moonves presumably stopped keeping track of his sexual crime.
