Lina Marcela Medina de Jurado is a Peruvian woman who is well known to be the youngest confirmed mother in history. She gave birth to a son when she was just five years, seven months and 21 days.
She was first thought to have tumor when her parents took her to the hospital when they noticed the abnormal increase in her abdominal size. She was later confirmed pregnant by specialists in Lima.
Lina Medina got married to Raúl Jurado in 1972 and gave birth to a son with her husband in addition to the son she had previously.

On May 14, 1939, at age five, Lina Medina gave birth to a baby boy through a caesarean section. She named the boy after her doctor, Dr Gerardo Lozada, calling him Gerardo Medina. Gerardo grew up thinking Lina Medina was his sister until he turned age ten and got to know she was rather his mother.
Gerardo Medina passed away in the year 1979 at the age of forty years as a result of born disease.
